First Sea World Visit

For Christmas I asked for a Sea World pass. I knew the pass was more for me than anyone else. Charlotte is still a bit small to enjoy everything the park has to offer. It's been more than 15 years since I visited Sea World in Orlando and I remember loving it. It has rides, animals and shows.

And yes, before you ask I did watch Blackfish. I found the documentary interesting and sad, but I still wanted the pass. Charlotte hated the Shamu show. A few minutes into the show she looked at me and said All Done and refused to turn around for another few minutes. David and I found it hilarious. She finally let daddy hold her on her lap for the duration of the show.

Here's a few pictures from our first trip.

Riding one of the kid friendly rides.

She wasn't a fan of this Shamu either.
Playing on the playground.
Eating a snack during the dolphin show.
Playing in the snow.
She wasn't sure about the white stuff at first.
We will be heading back soon.

Whatever Wednesday

I'm finally getting back into a "normal" blogging routine. Let's see how long it lasts LOL.

For the past month/month and a half I've been binge watching shows on Netflix. Most shows were on mid season break so naturally I decided to pick up several new shows. Why? Because I have so much time on my hands (said sarcastically). It was primarily due to the fact that we only get two channels and we hardly ever watch live tv.

I finished watching Private Practice. For being a spin off show I really enjoyed it. And although I'm sad it ended, abruptly IMO, I'm glad they finished. Some other shows should take a hint. We stumbled upon the Following, and I'm so glad we did. If you are a Dexter fan, you'll enjoy this. Next up was Revenge, which I begrudgingly watched. For some reason before the series I couldn't stand Emily Van de Camp. I've come to the realization that I hated her character on Brothers & Sisters and not her. I'm definitely hooked. However, like Scandal, which I also binge watched, I'm finding it hard to watch week to week especially since it's on hiatus until late February. I'm looking for my next show. I would like to watch Nashville, but I can't find the first season anywhere, so starting with the second season on Hulu+. Show suggestions are much appreciated.

At least several of my cable shows, Pretty Little Liars, Dance Moms, Teen Mom 2 and Psych, are back on and keeping me company until after the Olympics.

And if anyone knows where I can re-watch old Veronica Mars episodes do tell. I would love to re-watch before the movie comes out.

Chargers/Chiefs Game

A few weeks ago, we were fortunate to get tickets to the Chiefs/Chargers game. The weather was beautiful and we even managed to stay for almost the whole game. Charlotte did great and entertained the people around us. We were one of a dozen people with Chiefs colors on in Charger fan country. Our friend Yohan was able to come down from LA to visit and attend the game. The Chiefs lost in overtime, but everyone had a great time.

Since Christmas was almost a month ago, I'd thought instead of posting a long way overdue post I'd just share photos from around the holidays. Hope you enjoy.
