Easter is a time to celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Saviour. This year was especially fun to see C actually grasps the true meaning of Easter. I had lots of plans to do resurrection eggs and other activities but with us moving and St. Patrick's Day being the week before I didn't have much energy to do anything extra.

We went to church on Saturday evening, which made for a smooth and easy Easter morning. We were hosting Easter lunch and my family was coming for a few days that night. I don't know how my parents did it when we were young. We would often go to the Sunrise service, come home and enjoy Easter baskets/hunts and make it to church by 9:30.
We made resurrection rolls and they were delicious.

My parents, sister and her kids drove down Easter evening and spent the week with us. Here the girls are enjoying a bedtime snack.

The rest of the week we enjoyed hanging out and playing with one another. The kids did quite well together and there were only a few fights we needed to break up.
One afternoon it warmed up enough to venture out to a neighborhood park. The kids loved playing outside.
By Friday the cousins were ready to head home, but we enjoyed their stay and are looking forward to seeing them more this summer.
