2014 Year in Review

This year started out rough for us, but our family and friends rallied behind us and we ended the year strong.

January

For Christmas I received a Sea World and we took the first of many trips to the park. C didn't like Shamu at first, but by the end of the year she loved him. We visited our family and friends in Missouri.

February

We had several visitors this month including grandpa, a college friend, a high school friend and a family from our church in DC. We also took advantage of the holiday to have a date night. 

March

In March we took the first of many trips to the SD Zoo. C was dedicated at church. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day and played a lot in the water. We also found out we were expecting!

April

In April we hunted for Easter eggs and C went on her first date. We also played in the water some more.

May

In May we saw more friends from DC who were in town on business. Grandma came in for a visit, we celebrated Mother's Day, partied with GOTR took our first gymnastics class, witnessed our first California fires and watched more baseball. Oh and went back to Missouri to celebrate H's 1st birthday.

June

In June, we were still in Missouri for a week so we hung out with family and watched more baseball. We also took a trip to LA to visit our friend Yohan who showed us a good time in the city and what else, watched another baseball game. We also celebrated our 9th anniversary and David's birthday. 

July

In July we spent time playing in the water, going to our first horse race and visiting ComicCon. 

August

In August we celebrated C's and my birthdays. We started and stopped potting training, moved to a big girl bed and gave up monkey. We also hung out with our church family group while watching a movie in the park. 

September

In September, David and I went to the Blake Shelton Concert, MOPS started and our good friends the Lorton's came to visit. 

October

In October, grandpa came for another visit, visited with yet another friend, cheered on our MIZZOU Tigers, had family photos taken and celebrated all things pumpkins. 

November

In November, we hosted my besties from college, prepared from baby boy's arrival and welcomed Everett into our world. 

December

In December we celebrated Jesus' birthday, made cookies, looked at Christmas lights and had a blast with Grandma while she visited. We also visited Sea World one last time and had dinner with Anna and Elsa.
