Summer Wrap Up

Earlier this summer I wrote out a bucket list of activities that I wanted to do over the summer. I thought I would go ahead and write an update on our activities and write out a fall bucket list.

Summer Bucket List

1. Weekend trip to Catalina - We didn't make it this year.
2. Splashpad - We took advantage of the new Downtown Waterfront Park and a kids pool

3. Strawberry Picking - We missed the season, but there is always next year.
4. Sea World - we haven't been, but have plans to go this month.
5. Beach Day - We went with our church family group, but sadly I didn't take any pictures. We definitely need to visit at least one more time, before the baby comes.
6. Take a day trip on the Coaster - Not this summer.
7. Disneyland - Maybe next summer
8. Camping - Maybe next year
9. Go to the racetrack - I had so much fun, I plan to go back next year.

10. Zoo/Safari Park - We went three times!

 

12. Outdoor Movie in the Park - Another activity we did we our church family group

13. See fireworks - We were able to see them the night before, then enjoy a day with friends.

14. Poway Train Depot - We haven't been, but plan to go this fall.
15. Eat at a Food Truck - I haven't seen many up where we live, but I plan on finding the pretzel truck.
16. Go See the Cardinals play at Dodgers Stadium - We saw the Cardinals play, in KC, SD and LA.

17. Blake Shelton Concert

Things that weren't on our original list that we did.

1. Ice cream date with daddy

2. Comic-Con

3. Chick-fil-a Cow Day

4. Celebrated Birthdays

4. Spent week with cousins

3. Aquarium (this might be a spring activity)
4. Pumpkin Patch
5. Family Photos
6. Poway Train Depot
7. Nature Hike
8. Check Out Christmas Lights/Polar Express
9. Safari Park
10. Have a Baby

I think we have a very busy remainder of the year.
